| Attach a custom image to the
main window |
|
DialFree
allows you to have any image you want as part of the main window of
Dialfree. The following illustration shows how the DialFree main window
looks when a custom image is attached to it.

To have
a custom image attached to the main window of DialFree, do the following
steps:
-
Prepare your
image in a file named "custmain.gif", "custmain.jpg", or "custmain.bmp".
The height of the image must be 249 pixels, and the width can be any
size.
-
Place the
image file in the DialFree program folder. If you are not sure where
this folder is in your computer, select the menu command Program
folder from the File menu in DialFree main window. This
will inform you of the full path of the DialFree folder.
-
From the
Tools menu, select the command Preferences and make sure
that the option "Hide main window image" is not checked.
-
Make sure
that the Image pane command in the Tools menu is
checked.
Tips:
-
DialFree
looks for the image file "custmain.gif", "custmain.jpg", or "custmain.bmp"
in this order. There, if -- for example -- you have both the files "custmain.jpg"
and "custmain.bmp" in the DialFree folder, it is the image in "custmain.jpg"
that will be used.
-
You may
temporarily hide the custom image by clicking the arrow button at the
bottom left corner of the image. You may later show the image by
selecting the menu command Image pane in the Tools menu.
-
Checking "Hide
main window image" in the Preferences makes the image never
appear until "Hide main window image" is unchecked.
